Rihanna is the cover star for Harper’s Bazaar Magazine’s March edition while channeling Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. 

About the inspiration behind the Utilitarian and sexy cover of the magazine’s 150th Anniversary edition, Rihanna said:

 “There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer.

 Amelia Earhart was such a dynamic force in her industry, setting multiple aviation records in her time.
